What To Expect For Your Children

LifeKids LogoChildren are one of our highest priorities here at Life Church.  LifeKids meets during all our adult services and is for newborns through sixth grade.  We divide the children in to age appropriate classes and provide engaging, age appropriate curriculum that will help them learn about God and have a lot of fun!

We realize taking your children and trusting them to strangers for the first time is a big step, so below are some of the answer to questions parents often have when they visit Life Church.

Will my child be safe at LifeKids?

Yes.  We take several precautions to ensure that we create an environment that is safe and secure for your children.  For example:

  • Your child and you as a parent will receive a unique, secure ID code that must be returned when your child is picked up.  No one else will be able to pickup your child without this code.
  • We use a texting system to contact parents if they are needed at any time during the adult service.
  • All volunteers must go through a criminal background check.
  • Allergies and other special medical conditions will be identified when you register your child and printed on your child's name badge.

Preschool FamilyWill my 3-month-old be in the same class as the older children?

All of our LifeKids classes are designed for your child's specific age group.

How do I know if my child in LifeKids needs to get a hold of me during service?

You will receive a parent badge with a number along with your child's name.  If for some reason our volunteers need to get a hold of you, one of our LifeKids' Leaders will text the number on your child's name badge.

How do I register my children for LifeKids?

To register your child for LifeKids, arrive at the LifeKids registration booth 10-15 minutes before service starts.  Fill out the registration card, then your child will receive a badge to wear to LifeKids and you will receive a badge to keep with you.  You will need your badge to pick up your child after service.

How early can I drop off my children at LifeKids?

Registration begins 15 minutes before every service.  This gives you plenty of time to drop off your children, grab some snacks and make it to service in time.  We encourage you to allow at least 10-15 minutes to register your child and drop them off the first time.
